Community Partners
As a community partner, we are excited about the exciting adventure we are undertaking with London Symphonia as their primary concert facility!
The first phase of the renovations (the sanctuary renovation) is complete, and more is planned. The upgrades provide the orchestra and other community groups access to an incredible concert hall with full stage lighting, sound, and projection capabilities.

We are now working with a number arts groups in the city. Please have a look at the concerts and events being presented in London's newest concert facility!

London Symphonia
London Symphonia is a professional symphony orchestra committed to performing vibrant and bold musical experiences for London and the region. With a core of 30 players, our versatile group meets the community's needs for quality programming by presenting well-known symphonies, Canadian premieres, and collaborations with some of Canada's finest singer-songwriters. Our vision includes a commitment to artistic excellence, music education, and strong community partnerships.
London Youth Symphony
For more than 60 years, London Youth Symphony has provided students in London and area with educational opportunities that enhance university, public school, conservatory, and private music learning. Young musicians collaborate and create in a learning environment where fundamental skills like leadership, self-confidence, teamwork, and resilience are developed. With professional musician faculty and conductors, LYS encourages and empowers young musicians so they may pursue personal excellence both on and off the stage.
Metropolitan United Church Choir School
CANADA'S PREMIERE PROFESSIONAL LITURGICAL CHOIR FOR YOUNG SINGERS

We are not a children’s choir: we are a choir! We do not get together to have fun: we get together to study, learn and become musicians! We do not sing tuneful, fun, uplifting music; we sing music! We don’t sing music that is trendy and we don’t disavow music just because of its origin or period. We grow by striving to continually improve. We grow by working hard. We grow by constantly challenging ourselves. We are a choir of young musicians who care deeply about excellence and don’t apologize for it! We are the Choristers of The Metropolitan United Church Choir School.
Met Live Theatre Company
The Met Live Theatre Company consists of a group very talented young actors who are exploring the acting possibilities available to them on the newly renovated concert stage at Metropolitan.

Their first production, Shakespeare's King Lear, was presented in February of 2024. This production took place on the concert stage, which we call the Metropolitan Main Stage. The show was a tremendous success and now we are back to present Hamlet.
Last June we also presented Fred Carmichael's Any Number Can Die. An hilarious takeoff on the murder mystery plays of the late 20s complete with secret panels, robed figures, and wills being read at midnight!
